Some people need to visit the dentist twice a year; others may need more visits. There is no one-size-fits-all dental treatment schedule, and your dentist will often let you know if you should come in more than every 6 months.

DO YOU ACCEPT MY INSURANCE OR DO I NEED INSURANCE?

The best way to know if we accept your insurance is to give us a call at (915) 598-7264. We are knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to answer any questions you might have.

WHAT ARE EARLY SIGNS OF DENTAL DECAY OR DISEASE?

Periodontal disease and tooth decay often go unnoticed and may not be recognized right away. However, warning signs of gum disease & tooth decay include the following:

  • Red, puffy or painful gums
  • Bleeding while brushing, flossing, or eating hard food
  • Receding gums or pulling away from the teeth, exposing more tooth than before
  • Loose or separating teeth
  • Pus between your gums and teeth
  • Sores in your mouth
  • Persistent bad breath
  • A change in your bite or feeling of tightness
  • Discoloration or chipping of teeth

Regular dental visits are crucial to dental health. Brushing and flossing are a great way to preserve your teeth and gums, but are not always enough.

I’M PREGNENT, CAN I COME IN FOR A DENTAL EXAM & CLEANING?

Oral health is important to maintain especially during pregnancy.  You will need a release form from your doctor indicating that you are fit to visit a dental office. We will not be able to take X-rays during your visit.
